The Village Inspired Dress

This is my favorite house and day dress. It is perfect in length so it covers my forever nonshaved legs, and has the frilly lace detail I love! My handbag is labeled Dooney& Bourke All-Weather Leather with a rights reserved symbol so I think it's real...if I'm mistaken please let me know:) It comes with a detachable purse string as well! I found this bag for a measly $2 at Goodwill!

Dress and bag: Thrift store
p.s. sorry for blurry pictures!

Batik is fantastic!

It has an arrangement of flowers and vines with the fabric mainly pinkish purple, black, and white color.
Oh, the lovely Batik from Indonesia is quite spectacular with its array of beautifully mixed designs!
This is my thrift store find of an original batik from Indonesia[according to the tag ha]
I have a newfound love for the sixties era hippie clothing! I hope to find a dashiki really soon at a thrift store, I want one before it becomes too cold in the winter!

Dress: Forever 21
Jacket: Thrift store
Tights and shoes: boutique in Japan

I worked in this all day, but I really enjoyed the overall professional look with a funky modern twist added to it. Bad quality I know...oh how I wish I could find my lost camera!

The winter brings in laats of vintage inspiration!

Here's an outfit I wore to school recently:

dress, scarf & jacket: thrifted
tights: japan
shoes: dillards

For quite some time, i dressed in jeans and a t-shirt, but as winter rolled around, i became inspired again, just like last winter! So, I have began dressing in dresses and tights again! In a few more months, it will be hot enough so tights aren't needed.

I finally got a digital camera over the summer, so i had a chance to take pictures of my outfits, albeit they take place on the street in various cities! Shopping in Tokyo was amazing! Far more better than I expected!

In shimizu, Japan, there was this hippy/india store with amazing jewelery and clothes. It wasn't that expensive and i bought the coolest hippy inspired necklaces! They are a must have for all my outfits.
